We all know that being present is a good thing, but what does it actually mean to find yourself in the present moment? While that answer will manifest differently for everyone, authentic presence is something we have all experienced at some point or another. And when it hits, you know. That moment when you really feel the sun on your skin, the air in your lungs, the earth beneath your feet, the pen in your hand. No judgements. No distractions. Just a pure state of being. Surprise. There you are. Dancing. No hesitation. No contemplation. Just awareness. You are flowing, you are natural. You exist. In the wise words of Deepak Chopra, “Here and now is the only meeting place where you will find your soul.” There is no gift quite like the present—that's where we come in.
So, Who are we?
And Our Mission?
Our mission is to reduce waste within the tradition of gifting. We diverge from products to build more meaningful memories through thoughtfully curated local experiences that realign us with the present moment. By offering these experiences, we aim to foster a community of small Colorado businesses who provide extraordinary and meaningful services.
Conceived in a dream and born in the era of COVID and Black Lives Matter, Presence is an expression of Olivia Hamblin’s desire to turn our back to habitual consumerism and to start filling our lives with experiences that expand the mind, contribute to a greater consciousness and leave your cup full. Because moments > things.
“Gift giving has always been one of my favorite ways to get creative and share love with others. I want to utilize Presence as a way to challenge what we give and ask for as gifts. I want to bring awareness, intention and soul to the act of gift giving, relying less on the planet for physical resources and more on our communities for energetic human resources.
More simply put, there are people out there doing some really f-ing cool things that need to be shared. I am so sick of stuff and SO thirsty for life’s juicy moments. I noticed a lot of people feeling this way as well. Thus, I (with the help of so many wonderful people) created a platform to encourage gifts that take up space in our hearts, not in our homes.”
Where your focus goes, your energy flows.
